Customer story · Beauty & personal care

Twice the business. Not one SLA breach.

A skincare brand built on ingredient transparency, scaling fast across D2C, marketplaces, general trade, modern trade and quick commerce, with SAP at the centre and a B2B business the old systems could not carry.

About the brand

Clean science, at scale.

Minimalist is one of India’s fastest-growing personal care brands, built on ingredient transparency and data-driven formulation. It has redefined skincare for the digital-first D2C era and become a benchmark for quality control and streamlined fulfilment in beauty and wellness. Its B2B business grew significantly, across general trade, modern trade and quick commerce, and that growth created scalability problems the existing systems could not manage. The brand went looking for one centralised WMS and OMS to run every function.

The challenge

Manual, siloed, and slowing down.

Before EasyEcom the brand’s processes were largely manual, siloed and prone to delays or inaccuracies. Seven distinct problems, grouped here.

01

B2B by hand

B2B order processing was manual, expiry checks for B2B were manual, and customer-specific pricing schemes produced errors.

02

Error-prone inwarding

Product inwarding had no scan at the door, so batch, expiry, unit of measure and MRP were captured inconsistently, and inventory mismatches were frequent.

03

SAP and the warehouse not talking

A lack of SAP-to-WMS communication meant data consistency depended on people.

04

Cartons versus units

Complex carton-versus-unit inventory movement had no clean way to convert, count or allocate.

The solution

Rules, scans, and SAP in the loop.

EasyEcom’s unified OMS and WMS gave Minimalist rule-based automation for B2B, QR-code capture at inwarding, unit-of-measure flexibility, shelf-life-based allocation and a customised SAP integration. This is the loop.

Every channel — D2C, marketplaces, GT, MT, quick commerce
EasyEcom — one WMS and OMS for both
SAP — consistent by integration
Step 01 · Every channel

Order lands, B2C or B2B

D2C, marketplace, general trade, modern trade and quick-commerce orders arrive in one queue, and B2B processing is fully automated with rule-based workflows and inventory allocation.
