Customer story · Fragrance & personal care

One quarter. Twenty percent more revenue.

A fragrance brand scaling across its own website and the marketplaces, and selling out in one channel while overselling in another. One inventory across every channel changed the quarter.

About the brand

Global fragrance, Indian manufacturing.

Bella Vita is a fragrance-forward brand: luxury perfumes, bath and body, and skincare, in IFRA-certified, cruelty-free formulations. It combines imported perfume oils from France, Spain and Italy with Indian manufacturing, and its promise is premium fragrance at value-driven prices, for everyone. As the brand spread across channels and markets, the same promise had to hold at the warehouse: the right stock, in the right channel, at the moment someone wanted it.

The challenge

Sold out here, oversold there.

Scaling across a D2C website and multiple marketplace channels at once, Bella Vita found that inventory control, accuracy and fulfilment speed each got harder as volume rose. Four problems, all of them the same problem in different clothes.

01

Volume across every channel

High order volumes were arriving from the website and the marketplaces simultaneously, into processes built for one at a time.

02

Stockouts and oversells

Without one live inventory, a channel could sell out of a fragrance that another channel still showed as available, or sell a unit that was already gone.

03

Accuracy while scaling

Order and inventory accuracy had to hold as the numbers grew, which is precisely when manual checks start to slip.

04

Returns, slowly

Returns processing and reconciliation was slow enough to tie up stock and margin that should have been back in play.

The solution

One inventory, every channel, live.

EasyEcom’s OMS and WMS centralised Bella Vita’s multi-channel order and inventory operations across its D2C website and the marketplaces. The loop below is what a fragrance order goes through now.

Every channel — D2C website, marketplaces
EasyEcom — one inventory, one workflow
Every channel — availability republished

Website and marketplace orders arrive in one unified queue rather than in separate systems with separate stock figures.
