Six in ten orders were processed wrong, and 23% came back for the wrong quantity, the wrong product or a price mismatch.
The organic snacking brand behind Slurrp Farm and Mille, selling on Blinkit, Zepto, Amazon, Flipkart and its own site, with a pandemic-era order book it could no longer see into. Six months on EasyEcom changed that.
video_yt and the frame follows the asset's own shape.Wholsum Foods is the D2C organic snacking company behind Slurrp Farm and Mille, built on the promise of “Made By Mothers.” Founders Meghana Narayan and Shauravi Malik set out to replace the processed food on grocery shelves with traditional Indian superfoods: ragi, jowar and bajra. From a single pureed fruit-and-veg prototype the brand now sells in retail stores across India, the UAE and the United Kingdom, on its own website, and on the leading eCommerce and quick-commerce marketplaces. That breadth is the achievement. During the pandemic it was also the problem.
Slurrp Farm sells through physical stores, its own website and Blinkit, Zepto, Amazon, Flipkart and FirstCry, from a mother warehouse in Bengaluru and micro hubs in Delhi and Mumbai. The brand could not see how much inventory each channel was consuming, and in the pandemic that turned into seven problems at once.
Six in ten orders were processed wrong, and 23% came back for the wrong quantity, the wrong product or a price mismatch.
Low-shelf-life products could not be identified in time to discount or reprice, while marketplaces required a minimum share of the stock they held to be sold through.
Skewed visibility across channels made it hard to set inwarding rules, and separating identification codes to decide what to pick was manual work.
There were no API integrations for quick-commerce vendors like Blinkit and FirstCry, so purchase orders were keyed in manually, platform by platform.
Within six months of onboarding EasyEcom’s AI-driven inventory system, Wholsum Foods had full visibility back across the operation and had turned the disruption into growth. This is the loop that did it.
Orders and purchase orders from Blinkit, Zepto, Amazon, Flipkart, FirstCry and the website arrive over API. Nobody keys a PO in per platform any more.
The performance snapshot from Wholsum Foods’ own case study. Every line is the previous figure and the current one.
EasyEcom has been a pivotal contributor to Slurrp Farm’s ability to streamline both inventory and warehouse operations. The added visibility into our inventory and fulfillment processes enabled us to efficiently manage growing demand while significantly improving operational efficiency. The logistics team can now easily track where orders come from and exactly what inventory goes into them. Planning inventory, tracking orders, and allocating stock have collectively helped us reduce costs and improve execution. I would rate EasyEcom a 9/10 for getting our order processing back on track. The best part is that the team is available whenever needed to troubleshoot issues and has successfully implemented every configuration request we’ve made.
