Customer story · 3PL & fulfilment

Twice the orders, half the time per order.

A pan-India 3PL running fulfilment for a growing roster of brands, across a warehouse network that was expanding faster than its processes. On EasyEcom it doubled monthly volume and moved B2C dispatch to same-day, without adding operations headcount. Name withheld at the client’s request.

About the brand

Many brands, many warehouses, one operation.

The company is a full-stack eCommerce fulfilment and 3PL provider. It runs warehousing, shipping and multi-channel order fulfilment for retail and eCommerce brands across D2C, marketplace, quick-commerce and B2B operations, through a network of fulfilment centres across India. Its promise to those brands is flexibility and reliability as they grow. As the network and the client list both expanded, keeping that promise meant the processes underneath had to change.

The challenge

Growing faster than the processes could carry.

Accuracy, speed and inventory control across a multi-warehouse, multi-brand network get harder with every client and every site added. Four problems compounded as the company scaled.

01

Manual processes at scale

Order processing that worked at one size was capping speed at the next, with people doing the work that rules should.

02

Inconsistent routing

Orders did not reliably go to the right fulfilment centre, which meant slower turnaround and avoidable cancellations.

03

Accuracy across many clients

Keeping inventory correct for many brands across many warehouses at once is the hard problem of 3PL. It was being done by hand.

04

Coverage and turnaround

A quarter of serviceable pincodes were out of reach, a B2C order took a day to leave, and a B2B transfer took three.

The solution

One platform, every client, every site.

EasyEcom’s OMS and WMS centralised inventory, warehouse and order management across every client and every fulfilment centre. The loop below is what runs the network now.

Every client brand — website, marketplaces, B2B
EasyEcom — one platform, many clients
The network — audited digitally
Step 01 · Every client brand

Order lands from any client

An order for any client brand, from a website, a marketplace or a B2B stock transfer, arrives in one queue. Multi-client is the default, not a workaround.
