Challenges Faced:

Being one of the largest manufacturers in Indian market KKCL had a good order volume across channels. However, with higher order volume came the challenge to track the missing returns, outstanding invoices and disputed payments. These issues resulted into a lack of clarity on the net margin on SKU level as well as on the overall business. It was getting difficult to manage the online business across channels for them.

KKCL heard about EasyEcom’s reconciliation services from different forums and approached us to reconcile their payment across channels. Initially they opted for a trial of one month and reconciled for the month of June 2016. The auto reconciliation tool helped

  • sync the orders and payments details from various marketplaces.
  • Using the advanced data analytics, the reconciliation report got ready instantly with the details of the number of invoices pending for settlement,
  • Number of pending returns for which the seller has either not received the product or any payment.
  • It also reflected the invoices which were disputed in terms of extra marketplace deductions, partial settlements etc.
  • KKCL also started using the margin report feature which helped them understand their margin on a SKU level which in turn helped them restructure their sales strategy and promotions.

Since then they have been using the complete package of EasyEcom and able to manage the online business more efficiently.
